Cool Ladder is designed to collect as little personal information as practical. This policy explains what may be processed when you visit coolladder.com.
Information processed automatically
Our hosting provider may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security events to deliver and protect the site.
Optional Google Analytics
If you choose “Allow analytics,” we load Google Analytics to understand visits and improve the site. Its default measurement can include pages viewed, sessions, approximate location, browser and device information, referral source, scrolling, and outbound-link clicks. Google Analytics uses a first-party identifier cookie to distinguish visitors and sessions. We do not use this site to send names, email addresses, or form contents to Google Analytics.
Advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization are disabled in our Google tag. Google processes Analytics data under its own privacy policy.
Outbound and affiliate links
When you follow a link to a manufacturer or retailer, that third party may use its own cookies or tracking technologies under its privacy policy. Affiliate links may include an identifier so a retailer can credit Cool Ladder for a qualifying purchase.
If you contact us by email, we receive the address and information you choose to send. We use it to respond and retain it only as reasonably needed for that conversation or business records.
Your choices
You can allow or decline optional analytics in the banner and change that choice later through “Analytics preferences” in the site footer. Your choice is stored locally in your browser. Declining blocks the Google Analytics tag; changing from allow to decline sends a denied consent signal and removes Cool Ladder's Google Analytics cookies when possible. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser and avoid outbound retailer links.
